Scorpions
Habitat - Scorpions are found throughout the southern united states from
coast to coast. Only one species of scorpion found in the united states
could be consider danger, and its found in the extreme southwest in Arizona
and southern California. Still, only small children and the elderly are
at risk of fatal sting from this species. Any scorpion sting, however, can
be serious to any one that is allergic to insect stings. A physician should
attend to all stings.
Snakes
As many persons dread even no venomous snakes, these reptiles are often
unwanted around homes. Very few people are willing to tolerate poisonous
snakes in their gardens or their yards, especially if children frequently
play in the area. For these reasons, snakes control is often sought about
homes and suburban housing areas.
